Rajby and Mothercare went against each other in the match played at TMC Cricket Ground
Batting first Mothercare posted a competitive total of 147 runs with the loss of 6 wickets. Opener Fazal Saad played a scintillating innings up the order by scoring 90 runs on 56 balls with the help of 9 boundaries at a strike rate of 160.7. However, the middle order batters failed to match Saad’s class as only two batters Abuzar & Sohail could cross the 20 runs mark. Rajby’s bowling star bowler was Abdullah Sohail who took 3 wickets in his 4 overs spell. Other than Abdullah only Mustafa was able to strike as he took 1 wicket.
Rajby chased the target in 17.2 overs at the loss of 5 wickets. Their innings was evenly supported by significant contribution of middle orders. Talha Tariq and Noman Arfeen scored 40+ odd runs. Whereas, other batters lower the order made important contributions to take their side to victory. Huzaifa’s 3 wickets and Ali Sohail’s 1 wicket contributed to the bowling unit. However, they failed to gather support from other bowlers.
Hence, Rajby defeated Mothercare by 5 wickets.
