A hard fought game from both sides ended up with Rangoonwala clinching victory just by one run over Inovators CC.
Rangoonwala batted first and were off to an amazing start with their openers, Ahmed and Shoaib thrashing the bowlers to every corner of the ground. It was a perfect beginning for rangoonwala. Both openers smashed 2 sixes each, Ahmed score 27 whereas Shoaib made 31. Once they were dismissed Inovators made a strong come back in the game with Zameer Khan leading the way who was the pick of the bowler as he picked up 4 wickets for just 24 runs. On the other hand, Rangoonwala needed a little cameo from someone to take them to a reasonable score and that much needed innings came from Bilal, who smashed the bowlers during his blitz of 31 of just 20 balls. With this Rangoonwala posted a manageable 146.
A strong start was needed from Rangoonwala as they did not want to give too much away and that is exactly what they got as they picked up early wickets to keep a check on innovators batsmen. The match was in the favor of Rangoonwala until Tauseef joined Akhter in the middle. Both rescued the sinking ship and brought their team back in the game with their contributions but unfortunately for innovators both got out when they were set and in their 20s. Rangoonwala still had work to do as Zameer khan after his splendid bowling effort came to bat and gave his side another hope with his astonishing hitting. A 36 run knock with 2 fours and 2 sixes was something that Inovators needed badly and at one stage they were looking the favorites to win but the Zameer was runout for 36 and in the end Inovators were left heartbroken as they fell short just by one run.
