The match between Rangoonwala Cricket Team and Soneri Bank was played on 13th December,2015.
Batting first, Rangoonwala started the match with a great partnership between Aashir and Fayyaz. The two got together and started building the foundation for a big score with Aashir scoring 37 and Fayyaz playing a whirlwind hand of 41 in 36 balls which included 4 boundaries and 2 sixes. However, the limelight was stolen when 3 vital wickets were picked up by Aamir Zafar which included the set Aashir and Fayyaz. The interest of the audience heightened when Sheroz Sana scored 59 runs off 38 balls which included 8 fours and 2 sixes before his wicket was picked up by Rehan Tirmizi who further picked up 2 more wickets and Rangoonwala ended up at 191 for the loss of 6 wickets after 20 overs.
Definitely in need of great betsmen, Soneri started to chse the tough target but got off to a shaky start. After the early wicket of Asim, Saif ul Rehman and Sajid came together and scored 31 and 20 runs, respectively. However the run rate started improving when Jamal Uddin came to bat and contributed 61 runs off 32 balls which included 4 boundaries and 6 sixes. But the scores were not enough to cope up with the required rate as Soneri ran out of overs and fell short by 20 runs.
