Naseer's outstanding performance of 37 runs with the bat ensured victory for the Rental Falcons.
The start of the first innings was an exciting one for the Rental Falcons, when their opening batsmen Mujtaba (15) and Shakeel (13) laid a solid foundation for their side with a partnership of 28 runs. One down, Naseer was the player of the innings whose 37 run knock came off just 19 balls at a strike rate of 194. He remained not out but received little support from the remaining batsmen who were unble to contribute with the bat. Titans bowler Adil fought back for his side, picking up 2 wickets with Haider and Muzzamil chipping in with a wicket each. Rental Falcons set a target of 88 in 8 overs.
Rental Titans were off to a swift start, when one of their openers, Sumair scored 29 runs single handedly, while Haider was sent back to the dressing room for duck. Soon after the opening pair was bowled out, Adil took charge and scored 34 runs off 15 balls, fighting hard to pull his team back in the game and give his side a chance at chasing down the total. He received little support from the remaining batsmen however who threw away their wickets, unable to score any runs for their side. Tasbih, Arif and Mohsin picked up a wicket each for their side. Rental Titans were limited to 71 runs in 8 overs. Rental Falcons won by 17 runs. Naseer was awarded man of the match for his outstanding performance with the bat.
