Rental Falcons Vs AML Robusters (Allied Premier League)
Rental Falcons seem to be dominating the APL with their outstanding all round performance.
AML Robusters batted first against the Falcons in the first innings of the match.The team stumbled to get going with both openers M.Ali and Zubair being out early on in the innings for just 6 runs. The Rental Falcons came out with a brutal bowling attack and dismissed the opening pair in quick succession. The momentum was always in favor of the Falcons with wickets falling in regular intervals and the batsmen unable to contribute runs with the bat. Rehan and Farhan tried hard to pull their team back in the game with a partnership of 19 runs. Taskin also played his part beautifully and scored 22 runs for his side, giving his side a much needed boost to their total. Arif from the Rental Falcons picked up 2 wickets in 2 overs. Naseer also picked up a wicket. AML Robusters scored a total of 57 runs in 8 overs.
Adeel and Mujtaba were the opening batsmen for Rental Falcons who carried a partnership of 16 runs and got the scoreboard ticking for their side. After their dismissal Arif scored 10 runs and Anwer was sent back at duck. AML's bowlers were not going down without a fight with Rehan and Farhan taking 2 wickets each to stump the opposition and try and defend their team's total. Mohsin and A.Razzaq played the match winning shots and Rental Falcons chased down the target in 6 overs, comfortably winning by 5 wickets. Arif was Awarded man of the match for his spell of 2 wickets in 2 overs giving away only 6 runs.
