TNN Titans batted first and were off to a rocky start, losing opener Bilal Omer for just 7 runs early on in the innings. The team put up a solid display with the bat with opener Mohammad Faizan scoring a valuable 38 runs. The real show however began when Owais Pasta stepped in to smash an impressive 65 runs at a strike rate of 166 including 3 maximums. Shaaz Shajani showed off his set of skills with a cameo of 33 runs which included 4 boundaries. Lions bowler Ritchie was the man of the hour with an unplayable spell of 4 wickets that put his team back in the game. TNN Titans eventually set a target of 172 in 20 overs.
Rims Lions opener Farhan Asif showed no mercy against a formidable bowling line up. With an explosive innings of 99 runs, he was unfortunate in not being able to complete his century, playing for the entire duration of the innings. With a foundation set, there was little left for the remaining batsmen to do and a minor contribution of 36 runs by Muzammil Mehboob comfortably pushed the team over the lion. Titans bowlers tried hard to stop the onslaught but were helpless against the batting line up. Shaaz Shajani and Owais Pasta took 2 wickets each but were unable to defend their team's total or stop the flow of runs. Rims Lions eventually chased down the target in 19.4 overs.
