RLCA v Omer Associates (20 over match)
RLCA batted first losing their opener AUR for just 9 runs. His partner Rizwan however played a fantastic knock of 47 runs and was accompanied by Ghulam Ali who scored 58 runs at a strike rate of over 200. The rest of the team however, contributed little with the bat and fell to a wonderful display of bowling by Omer Associates. Jaffar Qureshi, Iqbal Shiekh and Haris Ayaz were in-form and on fire, striking at key times and picking up 2 wickets each. RLCA posted a competitive total of 186 runs in 20 overs.
Omer Associates were off to a disastrous start in their chase, losing their top 4 batsmen for just 10 runs. The duo of Kamal Ghani and and Ghulam Ali were merciless against the opposition and did maximum damage to the batsmen. Iqbal Shiekh and Ahmed Hayat then lead the recovery, fighting hard to save their team and win the match. The duo scored 128 runs but could not see their team over the line. Nasir Khan eventually broke the oppositions momentum, striking twice in succession to seal the victory for his side. Omer Associates were restricted to 156 in 20 overs.
RLCA won by 30 runs.
