Roomi & Akkar Blaster went against Falaknaz Hawks on 16th December at Asghar Ali Shah Ground.
Batting first, Blaster posted a mammoth total of 195 runs at the loss of 4 wickets only. Sumail Aziz was phenomenal as he smashed a century at a strike rate of 177.59. He remained not out and scored 103 runs off 58 balls only. Raheel Bhatta bagged 2 wickets.
The chase was opened by Talha Aqeel and Yousuf Riaz, scoring 8 and 21 runs only respectively. The batters displayed a sloppy effort, as the bowlers dominated. Danish Fattani and Waqar Idrees knocked off 2 wickets. While Salman Asif and Zeeshan Arif took 1 wicket each.
As a result, Roomi & Akkar Blaster successfully defended their total. They restricted the opponents to a score of 111 runs at the loss of 9 wickets. Hence, winning the match by 43 runs.
