Rims Lions came in to bat first & were off to a disastrous start loosing 4 wickets inside the powerplay. The bowlers kept the pressure as they managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Fahad Jabbar stood tall from one end as wickets kept on tumbling from the other end. Hunain Usman came in & the duo then managed to put up some sort of a partnership saving their team from a horrible collapse. Hunain Usman departed after scoring 25 runs off 27 deliveries. Fahad Jabbar followed him soon as he played a sublime knock of 52 runs off 47 deliveries giving their team something to fight for. Hammad Warrind lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Habib Ullah & Ubaid Umer who picked up a couple of wickets each. Rims Lions were bowled out for 135 runs.
Roomi Royals came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing 3 wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a high rate. Ahmed Asif & Ammar Iqbal put up a fiery partnership at the top making full use of the powerplay. Ammar Iqbal departed after playing a cameo of 25 runs off 14 deliveries. Habib Shoaib came in & he played with the same intent. Ahmed Asif departed after playing a fiery innings of 56 runs off just 35 deliveries putting his side in a dominant position. Habib Shoaib joined him soon as he scored 26 runs off 23 deliveries. Abdul Rehman Halari & Talha Shabbir then finished the match for their side scoring 8 runs & 13 runs respectively. Afroz Hassan, Mujtaba Raza, Hunain Usman & Saad Dawood managed to pickup a wicket each but it wasn’t enough to seal the deal for their team.
