Royal C.C and Mavericks Stars Cricket Club went against each other on 13th October at the UBL Ground.
Batting first, Mavericks posted a total of 154 runs at the loss of 7 wickets. Mustafa Mazhar stood out, as he opened the innings with a blistering 40 off 37. His opening partner Owais Anjum Gulzar added 20 runs to the score. Saad Tariq also stood out with his knock of 47 played at a strike rate of 188. Ruman Ali led the bowling attack, as he bagged 3 wickets.
Abdul Wajid opened the second innings with Syed Zia Shah. Though he got out on a single run only, however, Zia scored 47, hitting 7 fours. Babat Khan and Naimat Bilal Afridi took 2 wickets each. However, the batters were unstoppable, as they came close to the score. Cameos by Imran Iqbal, Abdur Rehman Sr and Huzaifa Ali were crucial in the chase.
As a result, Royal C.C chased the score in 19.2 overs with 3 wickets to spare at a run rate of 8.07.
