Royal CC and Mavericks went against each other on 16th October.
Ahmed Asif and Habib Shoaib opened the innings for Mavericks. Ahmed lost his wicket on a duck on Hammad Warrind’s ball. However, Habib scored 33 runs off 34 balls, hitting 3 boundaries. In addition to this, Bilal Aslam smashed 47 runs at a strike rate of 151.61. Ruman Ali led the bowling attack and took 4 wickets at an economy rate of 8.50. Rehman Ghani bagged 3 wickets. At the end of 20 overs Mavericks posted a total of 160 runs.
Abdul Wahid and Imran Iqbal opened the innings to chase the score for Royal CC. Imran scored 21 runs off 22 balls. While Abdul Wahid smashed a half century. His innings included 9 boundaries at a strike rate of 204. However, he was caught out on Usman Ashraf’s ball on 51 runs. Though Ammar Pasta knocked 3 wickets. However, the batters were unstoppable. The lower-order batters, Bilal Khalid and Ahmed Qureshi, played cameos. They scored 38 and 25 run respectively. Hence, helping the team in the chase.
As a result, Royal CC won the match by 3 wickets.
