Taj Marquee Smashers came in to bat first & were off to a disastrous start loosing 4 wickets inside the powerplay. The bowlers steam rolled over the top order completely dominating the first half of the innings. M Alam Bhimani & Ibrahim Kasmani then showed some resistance & put up a much needed partnership for their team. M Alam Bhimani was looking solid before he was dismissed after scoring 32 runs off 30 deliveries. Ibrahim Kasmani was equally good with the bat as he too scored 32 off 30. The bowlers then picked up the momentum yet again & started picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The lower order completely collapsed. Umer Khanani lead the bowling attack as he picked up 3 wickets. He found good support from Sadiq Suriya & Saad Sumar who picked up a couple of wickets each. Taj Marquee Smashers managed to score 124 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Royal Strikers came in to chase this target & were off to a flyer. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. A Habib Sheikhani & Habib Shoaib put up a partnership of 50+ runs. A Habib Sheikhani scored 35 runs off 29 deliveries before he was dismissed. Sadiq Suriya came in & contributed with his 13 off 17. Amin Suriya chipped in with his 12 off 9 as well. The bowlers were able to pickup wickets at regular intervals but were unable to stop the flow of runs as Habib Shoaib kept the score board ticking from the other end. He scored 47 runs off 40 deliveries ensuring his side the victory. Muhammad Anas Waheed & Kashif Tajani picked up a couple of wickets each but it was too little too late.
