Royal Warriors and Suriya Fighters went against each other on 28th August at Young Fighters Ground at the Memon Big Bash League.
Bilal Aslam and Amin Suriya opened the innings for Fighters. Aslam scored 37 runs, however, Suriya got out on 5 runs only. Mudassir Suriya played a crucial role with his innings of 35 runs. The team however stumbled throughout their innings, unable to build a partnership and really get the momentum going. Waqas Suriya and Muhammad Salman bagged 2 wickets each. Hence, Fighters posted a total of 168 runs.
Royal Warriors started the second innings with the determination to chase the score. Bilal Usman, the one-down batter, scored 40 runs off 34 balls. In addition to this, Muhammad Muavia played a crucial innings of 32 at a strike rate of 187.5. Sadiq Suriya dominated with the ball and dismissed 4 batters but it was too little too late as Royal Warriors chased down the target in the final over.
