Mavericks came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Their openers Bilal Aslam & Ahmed Asif put up a fiery partnership to begin the innings. The duo was striking the ball cleanly towards all parts of the ground. Bilal Aslam departed after playing a cameo of 28 runs off 17 deliveries. Arsalan Amin came in & he contributed with his 24 off 20. Saad Asif came in & he put up a partnership of 50+ runs with Ahmed Asif. Arsalan Amin took the attack to the bowlers as he played a fiery innings of 41 runs off just 20 deliveries. Ahmed Asif joined his soon after playing a sublime knock of 62 runs off 48 deliveries. Muhammad Ahsan Zafar came in the death overs & played a cameo of 17 runs off just 8 deliveries where as Usman Ashraf scored 11 off 10 ending the innings on a high. Ruman Ali managed to pickup a couple of wickets but the rest went for plenty. Mavericks CC posted a mammoth total of 203 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
Royal CC came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing 2 wickets early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Afnan Karim & Raja Saqlain Abbas put up a decent partnership at the top keeping their team in the match. Afnan Karim scored 26 off 19 where as Raja Saqlain Abbas played a fiery innings of 38 runs off 24 deliveries. Once the duo was dismissed the bowlers tightened their hold onto the match. The bowlers dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as Saad Dawood completely tore apart the batting lineup picking up 5 wickets shining bright when his side needed him the most. Muhammad Anas Waheed managed to pickup a couple of wickets as well. Royal CC were bowled out for 112 runs in 15.5 overs.
