SACC v Dani Sports Club
Dani Sports Club batted first and were off to a disastrous start, losing both openers early on in the innings. The team struggled throughout, losing wickets frequently unable to gain momentum at any stage. Haris Qureshi and Rana Ejaz were the only notable contributors for their side, scoring 25 and 40 runs respectively to try and pull their team back in the game. SACC bowlers were in form and on fire with Athar Sheraz Dar leading the attack taking 3 wickets to rattle the opposition. Mustafa, Amir and Alisheryar also pitched in, taking a wicket each to cause further damage. Eventually Dani Sports were unable to recover, posting a target of 156 in 20 overs.
SACC were off to a flying start in their chase with Mustafa Ali leading from the front. The centurion smashed 110 runs off just 60 balls at a strike rate of 183 to singlehandedly lead his side to victory. Dani's bowlers were helpless against the onslaught, unable to pick wickets at key times or stop the flow of runs. The remaining batsmen had little left to do and a minor contribution by Adeel Iqbal of 27 runs comfortably lead the side to victory. SACC chased down the target in 16 overs.
