Shabab Whites went head to head with Taheri CC in the 2nd qualifier of the Bohra Champions League. Batting first Shabab Whites were off to a decent start with both openers knocking runs with the bat. Huzaifa Hassan contributed 15 while Mufaddal was impressive in his knock of 33 which included 6 boundaries. The team kept losing wickets but the batsmen kept the scoreboard ticking throughout the innings. Hasnain Javaid and Huzaifa Abbas's cameos of 20 and 28 propelled their side further before Taheri bowlers dominated. Muntasir stole the show with his spell binding 4 wickets with Murtaza furthering the cause with his 3 wickets. Juzer also took 2 wickets and Taha Qadi picked up a wicket. Shabab Whites were eventually bowled out for 153 in 19.5 overs.
The 2nd innings showed the resilience of opener Taha Qadi like never before. After losing partner Murtaza Hussain for duck, the team stumbled, losing their top order cheaply but Taha stood firm. His knock of 70 came off just 57 and included 7 boundaries and 2 sixes, the lone fighter for his side. Mustafa Saleem also tried hard to fight for his side scoring 27 runs but the team had lost too many wickets too fast. Shabab bowlers did well to limit the opposition with Mohammad Sitamu taking 3 wickets and Mustafa Africawala chipping in with a couple. Taheri CC were restricted to 138 for 9 in 20 overs.
Shabab Whites won by 15 runs.
