Benitoz Panthers v OGS
Benitoz Panthers and OGS played against each other as part of the 2nd ACM Gold t20 Night League. Benitoz batted first and lost Ahmed Arshad after he had scored just 1 run. Madni Waqas Raja and Sumail Aziz then partnered up but Madni was out after having scored 23 runs and Sumail after scoring 24 runs. Israr Ul Haq then took over with an impressive knock of 43 runs and Ibaad Khan hit a quick 42 runs off 19 balls which included one boundary and four sixes at a strike rate of 221%. However, after Ibaad was out, none of the other batsmen got big scores as Shah Qureshi delivered his career best figures of 4 wickets for just 8 runs and Panthers were all out for 168 runs. For OGS, Iqbal Butt took 2 wickets and Waseem, Adnan and Ali picked up a wicket each.
In reply, OGS opener Imran Shah started aggressively and was out after scoring 42 runs off 28 balls in an innings which included 7 boundaries and a six. Wamiq got 38 runs but the star of the show was once again Talha Faheem who continued his good form and scored 50 runs off 32 balls including 5 boundaries and 2 sixes. Adnan Siddiqui hit19 runs off 9 balls which included four boundaries as OGS raced home in 17.5 overs for the loss of just 4 wickets. For Panthers, Umer Chawla took a wicket as did Saad Ahmed while Israr picked up 2 wickets.
OGS won by 6 wickets.
