Shaikhani Stars dominate Thunder Birds to become champions

Shaikhani Stars came in to bat first & were off to a dreadful start loosing 3 wickets inside the powerplay. Shahzaib Dyer & Salman Shaikhani then put up a small partnership stopping the fall of wickets momentarily. Salman Shaikhani was dismissed after scoring 16 runs off 18 deliveries. Syed Imran Haider came in & player with an aggressive intent. Shahzaib Dyer was looking promising before he was dismissed after scoring 33 runs off 23 deliveries. The bowlers then managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The lower order & the middle order collapsed. Syed Imran Haider was left stranded at the crease as wickets kept on tumbling from the other end. Syed Imran Haider played a sublime knock of 54 runs off 37 deliveries. Khuwaja Muneeb was unplayable as he picked up 4 wickets tearing apart the batting lineup. Mustafa Altaf also managed to pickup a couple of wickets. Shaikhani Stars were bowled out for 157 runs.

Thunder Birds came in to chase down this target & were off to a flyer. They managed to lose only 1 wicket inside the powerplay & were scoring at a healthy rate. SAFI ULLAH managed to score 37 runs off 39 deliveries. Abdul Rehman also played a solid knock of 43 runs off just 30 deliveries. Once the duo was dismissed the bowlers made their comeback. The bowlers then completely dominated the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The middle order & the lower order completely collapsed as the batsmen seemed to find no answer to such dominant bowling. Muhammad Anas Waheed lead the blowing lineup picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from M Khurram & Syed Imran Haider who picked up a couple of wickets each. Thunder Birds were bowled out for 128 runs in 19 overs.
