SHAKEEL SPORTS vs WASEEM KHURSHEED (RAMZAN LEAGUE)
It was men versus boys in this one sided encounter as Shakeel Sports locked horns with Waseem Khursheed. Shakeel Sports could not ask for a better start than this. Openers Rana and Irfan displayed both stability and extravagance in their partnership. Though Irfan could not stay longer on the crease but Rana continued his assault until he was run out at 49, missing a well-deserved half century. This solid start caused some troubles for the Waseem Khursheed bowlers and they lost their line and length. Zeeshan, Osama and Arsalan took 1 wicket each but could not bowl at the perfect line. Giving away 28 extras, Waseem Khursheed now had to chase 104 runs to win.
Waseem Khursheed need to play at a towering run rate from the start. But the pressure got the better of them. After losing an early wicket Kami and Arsalan tried to launch a counter attack but they managed to score only 18 and 21 runs respectively. Rizwan bowled well as he conceded only 6 runs in his 2 overs while Hassan got 2 for 20. Waseem Khursheed scored only 70 runs in 8 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Shakeel Sports won the match by 33 runs.
