Shan XI Vs Warriors CC (15th Challengers Cup)
Shan XI's batting order showcased brilliant form and knocked the Warriors out of the ground and claimed the win for themselves.
Warriors CC batted first against Shan XI in the first innings. Adamjee Tai and Adeel were the opening batsmen and were not successful enough on grabbing some decent runs on the scoreboard. Adamjee scored 28 runs. Rest of the batting order failed tremendously in performing for their side, against the vicious bowling attack of Shan XI. Fahad Ali was the key bowler for his side, picking up 5 wickets in 4 overs. Later on in the innings, Fahad Moten and Farhan carried a partnership of 50 runs, bringing the team total to 131 runs.
Shan XI did well with the ball in the first innings, and had high hopes for chasing the vulnerable target. The opening pair wasn't really effective in knocking the ball around and keep the scorecard ticking. They were dismissed at an early stage, where Fahad Ali was allowed to score 19 runs. Iqbal Parekh came in 1 down, and stood his ground till the end by scoring 22 runs, with a huge help from Mehmood Ali who scored 44 runs but was unfortunately dismissed and sent back. Kamran Ahmed and Iqbal Parekh played side by side and took their side to victory. Kamran scored 53 runs. Shan XI won by 7 wickets.
