Sky Hawks came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Abdul Basit provided his team with a fiery start. He scored a quick fire 49 runs off 25 deliveries making full use of the powerplay. Abid Malik came in & he played with the same intent. Despite the bowlers picking up wickets at regular intervals he kept scoring at a high rate not allowing the bowlers to fully dominate the game. Kashif Kabra came in & he put up a partnership of 50+ runs with Abid Malik. Both the batsmen took the attack towards the bowlers hitting out every bowler that was brought into the attack. There was some clean power hitting on display from both the ends as the ball was flying towards all parts of the ground. Kashif Kabra departed after playing a fiery innings of 42 runs off 22 deliveries where as Abid Malik played a sublime knock of 72 runs off just 36 deliveries. Shahbaz Malik managed to pickup a couple of wickets. Sky Hawks posted a mammoth total of 221 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
New Way Motors came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a high rate. Syed Soban & Shayan Rasheed put up a partnership of 100+ runs giving their team the perfect start to the run chase. Both the batsmen were in nice touch & were timing the ball cleanly. The duo scored at a high rate taking the attack towards the bowlers not allowing the bowlers to have their say. Syed Soban departed after playing a fiery innings of 41 runs off 22 deliveries. Shayan Rasheed played a sublime knock of 70 runs off just 39 deliveries. Once the partnership was broken the bowlers made their comeback picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Aatir Raza managed to show some sort of a fight back as he scored 27 runs off 17 deliveries. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as Abdul Basit lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Lateef Ahmed who picked up a couple of wickets.
