Down Town Strikers came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing 2 wickets early on they were scoring at a high rate. SOHAIL KHAN & Farhan Arif put up a partnership of 100+ runs giving their team a solid start. Sohail Khan played the role of the aggressor as he smashed the bowlers towards all parts of the ground making full use of the powerplay. He hit out every bowler that was brought into the attack. Farhan Arif played second fiddle to him scoring 34 runs off 30 deliveries. The bowlers then pulled back things in the death overs picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Sohail Khan fell agonizingly short of a well deserved century as he was dismissed after playing a sublime knock of 97 runs off 55 deliveries. Ubaid Umer & Hammad Warrind managed to pickup a couple of wickets each. Down Town Strikers posted a total of 179 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Roomi Royals came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Their openers Ahmed Asif & Habib Ullah put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a fiery start. Ahmed Asif played a fiery innings of 47 runs off just 27 deliveries. Habib Ullah played a solid knock of 38 runs off 36 deliveries. Ammar Iqbal came in & he played with the same intent. He stood tall from one end keeping his side in the match. The bowlers managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals from the other end. The bowlers bowled at tight line & lengths not allowing the batsmen to score easily. Ammar Iqbal played a solid knock of 40 runs off 30 deliveries but it was too much of a task for him. Farhan Arif lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. Sameer Ahmedani, Adeel Abbasi & Ali Ammar managed to pickup a wicket each.
