Soneri Bank batted first against FA Sports with the openers starting off strong. Zohaib smashed 40 runs while Zulfiqar contributed a handy 24. The team however then lost a string of quick wickets with Aamir Zafar and Adnan Iqbal's 29 run knocks helping save their side lower down the order. The real shocker however were the 40 extras conceded by FA Sports bowlers as Soneri Bank ended at a mammoth 209 in 20 overs. Abdullah Sadiq was the key wicket taker for his side with 4 scalps.
In response, FA Sports seemed like they were cruising to victory at one stage. Openers Ali Waqas and Muhammad Ehsaan were in form and on fire. Ali Waqas knocked 90 off just 47 balls while Ehsaan chipped in with 43. After the duo were dismissed however, the team were unable to carry forward the brilliant foundation that had been set with 6 of their batsmen being dismissed early. FA Sports eventually ended at 192 in 20 overs. Ali and Aamir Zafar picked up 2 wickets each.
