Southend Kings were to bat first in the first innings. The start of the innings was not a thrilling one, because the top batting order was not effective in scoring runs for their side and were bowled out quite early in the match. Haroon and Ali Sarwar supported their side by playing a wonderful partnership of 64 runs that added some runs on the scoreboard for the Kings, otherwise the team looked to be in trouble. The Kings were not allowed to play the 20 overs by the Bulls and the team was bowled out in 17 overs, setting a total of 107 runs. Danish Saleem picked up 3 wickets for the Southend Bulls.
The second innings was an interesting one to watch, where Maroof Mubashir played the match winning inning by scoring 60 runs and remained not out till the end of the match. Bulls with a stampede against the Kings. Southend Bulls chased the easy target in 13 overs and won by 8 wickets. An easy win for the Southend Bulls.
