The Sauce started the first innings at a slow pace while their opening pair went back to the dressing room on ducks. Fayaz Anees and Asad Butt were able to carry a partnership of 46 runs. But their wasn't any effective innings played by the batting order that could have placed a decent score on the scoreboard for the Stallions to chase. And thus The Sauce managed to score a total of 111 runs in 18.1 overs. The batting order was demolished by the bowling attack of the Stallions, where Mustafa was able to pick up 3 wickets.
Stallions were facing problems at the start of their innings when the opening pair was dismissed quiet early in the match. Hannan Ahmed and Anas Junaid supported the team by scoring a partnership of 47 runs giving their team a boost start. And in the end Hassan Ahmed played some sensible cricket and took his team all the way through the finish line and emerged victorious at the end of the contest. Dawood Lakhani was able to pick up 3 wickets for The Sauce.
