Starwood Properties Vs Karachi Patriots (ACM Gold T20 Night League)
A brilliant stand between Fahad Jabbar and Maeez Waqar helped their side win by 38 runs comfortably against Karachi Patriots.
Starwood Properties went out to bat first and they lost their first wicket quite early. This was the only good time for Karachi Patriots bowlers as after that it was all about Starwood Properties after that. Fahad and Maeed got together and piled up runs with their magnificent strokes and a splendid partnership. Both took advantage of every loose ball and smashed them for boundaries. Fahad scored 89 of just 55 with 10 fours and 1 six where as Maeez scored 70 of 40 with 9 fours. The bowlers were clueless against them and they went for plenty of runs without much success with the ball. The innings was ended on a high by a great little cameo from Kamran who scored 19 of 7 to take Starwood Properties to a very huge 211.
Karachi Patriots had a huge chase ahead and they started in a very positive fashion with both their openers Faisal and Adnan looking in classy touch. Adnan unfortunately could not go on for long and was dismissed for 27 of 19 but Faisal was in no mood to play it safe as he kept on going and played some astonishing shots during 77 run innings which came of just 49 balls, he smashed 3 sixes and 9 fours but Maaz Naveed dismissed him when he was looking very dangerous and it was a big setback for Karachi Patriots as after that no one really could challenge the bowling of Starwood. Maaz picked up 3 wickets in a high scoring game and was the pick of the bowler. In the end Starwood comfortably defended 211 and won by 38 runs.
