VIPER XI VS STEEL 11
KHAS AND VIPER TOURNAMENT
Viper XI faced Steel 11 in an exciting match of the Khas and Viper Tournament. Viper XI batted first and were off to a dismal start as the top order failed to get a good start. Waqas kept fighting despite no assistance from the other end, and scored 17 runs. Faraz Rafique tried to hold the innings together and gathered 16 runs off 27 balls. It was Yousuf Subhani who scored 33 runs and allowed his team to post a decent total. Osama Saigal,Nadeem Gulzar and Kamran Saleem took 2 wickets apiece. Viper XI scored 125 runs after 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Steel XI had a difficult start to life as wickets kept falling from one end. After a poor show by the top order, Osama Saigal joined Abdullah and started the remedial work. Abdullah missed his half century by 4 runs as he scored 46 runs off 39 balls. Osama Saigal scored 32 runs off 23 balls and finished the game for his team in the 18th over. Faraz Rafique took 2 wickets but could not halt Steel 11 from chasing the target. Steel 11 won the match by 4 wickets.
