Firdous XI came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Taha & Mehdi Jafri put up a partnership of 50+ runs scoring boundaries at regular intervals. The duo scored at a healthy rate keeping the score board ticking. Taha departed after scoring 50 runs off 51 deliveries where as Mehdi Jafri played a sublime knock of 56 runs off 41 deliveries. Najam came in & he scored 15 off 12. Osama Ejaz was the only batsman who managed to pickup a couple of wickets. Firdous XI posted a total of 165 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.
Sunset Strikers came in to chase this target & were off to a solid start Idrees Ahmed Durrani & Sarfaraz N Baluch put up a solid partnership at the top of the innings giving their team a strong start. Sarfaraz N Baluch departed after scoring 23 runs off 22 deliveries. Saad Asif came in & he played with the same intent. Both the batsmen Idrees Ahmed Durrani & Saad Asif were scoring boundaries at ease scoring at a quick rate. Idrees Ahmed Durrani played a fiery innings of 41 runs off 28 deliveries where as Saad Asif played a sublime knock of 53 runs off 37 deliveries. Faraz Qazi then came in & he scored 18 runs off 11 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the batsmen made their comeback picking up wickets at regular intervals. Muhammad Zafran came in late in the innings & played a fiery innings of 10 runs off 2 deliveries taking his team over the line.
