Suparco clashed with Vectracom in this thrilling fixture of the 3rd Corporate Super Cup League. The start was not superb for Suparco as they batted first. But after the loss of the first wicket, Zeeshan Ahmer and Abdul Wahab upped the gears. Zeeshan scored 23 runs of 18 balls while Abdul Wahab managed to score a brilliant knock of 45 runs. Abdul Wahab consumed 38 balls and was assisted by Rafiq Khatak who contributed 37 runs. After this strong display of batting by the middle order, expectations were not met by the lower order as they failed to cash this platform. Talha Bin Haider was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets for just 18 runs for Vectracom. At the end of 20 overs, Suparco scored 155 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Vectracom needed a mix of aggression and stability in order to chase this target. The start was not ideal as Shafaqatullah Khan was sent back to the pavilion after scoring just 6 runs by Rafiq Khatak. An early wicket could have resulted in a collapse but Abdur Raheem and Talha Bin Haider held the innings together. Talha scored 18 runs off 15 balls and after his wicket the baton was picked up by Farhan. Farhan scored 32 runs off 24 balls, supporting Abdur Raheem who scored 37 runs off 48 deliveries. Some decent efforts were put up by Syed Khurram Zahid and Bilal Shafique to take their team closer to victory. But in the last over the match was won by Suparco by 12 runs.
