Suriya Fighters emerged winners on 29th July, against Burj Builders & Developers.
Burj Builders started the first innings with Shahriyar Shahid and Fahad Yahya opening. The batting efforts of Burj Builders went in vain, as the bowlers of Fighters dominated. Asad Asif was the highest wicket-taker, as he bagged 3 wickets. In addition to this, 4 other bowlers took 1 wicket each. However, Abdullah Imran and Hasnain Deriwala smashed 32 runs each. As a result, Burj Builders set a target of 146 runs.
The second innings were opened by Fighters’ batsmen Bilal Aslam and Habib Shoaib. Aslam scored 28 at a strike rate of 200. In addition to this, Bilal Usman scored 44 runs off 37. Mudassir Suriya’s cameo of 34 off 36 was also crucial in the chasing efforts.
Hence, Fighters emerged winners with 5 wickets to spare.
