Suriya Fighters and Malik Sports went against each other on 27th August at the Markhor League Season 2.
Umair Tariq and Sadiq Suriya opened the innings for Fighters. While Umair managed to score 17 runs, Sadiq got out on a duck. Habib Shoaib helped stabilize the innings, playing at a strike rate of 125. However, he got run out by Taha Israel on 45 runs. Abdullah Imran was the star of the innings, as he scored 85 runs off just 47 balls. Adnan Saleem took 2 wickets. As a result, the batters of Fighters were able to set a target of 174.
Malik Sports’ openers Zain Khan and Muhammad Rayyan opened the innings. The batters displayed a sloppy effort, as the wickets fell back to back. Zeeshan Arshad managed to score 25 runs off 23. However, the bowlers were stunning, as they managed to dismiss all the batsmen. Mudassir Suriya took 3 wickets at an economy rate of 3.25. Abdul Qadir Suriya, Amir Altaf, and Umar Suriya took 2 wickets each.
As a result, Fighters managed to defend their total dismissing all 10 batsmen in the 20th over.
