Takaful Pakistan won by 46 against Adamjee Life Assurance in the match played at Naya Nazimabad.
Batting first, Takaful Pakistan posted a handsome total of 188 runs on the loss of 8 wickets. Openers Dawood and Rameez were off to a brilliant start. They scored 60+ runs partnership. Rameez’s 60 runs innings was the standout inning. Middle-order batters Abdul Rauf and Shah Hussain contributed by scoring 25+ runs each. In addition to this, lower-middle order finished the innings by making small contributions. Adamjee’s bowling was dominated by the star performer Umer Noor who took 4 wickets. In addition to this, M Faisal contributed by taking 2 wickets. However, high economy rates of other bowlers costed their team a huge total at the hands of Takaful Pakistan.
Adamjee Life Assurance were off to a steady start. Their openers Abdul and Mujahid scored a 40+ runs partnership. The shaky middle-order failed to make significant contributions. Their team wasn’t able to reach a highly competitive total as they collapsed at 131 runs. Takaful Pakistan bowlers successfully defended their total due to the bowling efforts of Sarim Khan, Habibullah Khan, Junaid, Sharjeel and Subhan Ali’s brilliant bowling.
As a result, Takaful Pakistan won the match by 46 runs.
