Tawakkal Strikers and American Doors went against each other on 10th December at RLCA.
Batting first, Strikers posted a total of 108 runs at the loss of all wickets in 18.5 overs. Ali Alam and Abdul Rauf Barai opened the innings, scoring 6 and 16 runs respectively. Shahzaib Hameed added 33 runs to the score at a strike rate of 150. Shahid Jiwani was successful in bagging 4 wickets.
Haseeb Ganatra and Shakir Serang gave a sloppy start to the team, as they got out on a duck and 1 runs respectively. Ammar Pasta scored 26 runs in an attempt to stabilise the innings; however, he got out on Affan’s ball. Zakir Mama and Shariq Markatiya scored 20+ runs each. However, the bowlers emerged to restrict the batters’ efforts. Affan and Shahzain bagged 3 wickets each, while Imran Muhammadi took 2 wickets.
As a result, American Doors were restricted to a score of 99 runs at the loss of all wickets in 17.2 overs.
