Friends Cricket Club met Thal Engineering in Toyota Cup at Landhi Gymkhana.
FCC opted to bat first scoring 157 for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Opener Ali Sohail scored 38 of 27 balls at a good strike rate of 140 but he got stumped out trying to accelerate the innings. Hamza and Haseeb both scored 30 runs each at the end of the innings which helped their team crossing the 150 mark. Shoaib and Waqas grabbed 2 wickets each.
Thal Engineering opener Aziz gave them a good platform scoring 36 of 38 balls, but was bowled by Hamza. After the openers departed the middle order struggled and 5 wickets were down in no time. Rizwan (22) and Shehzad (44) constructed the innings which helped Thal chase the target for the loss of 6 wickets.
