The Team Vs A&I Properties (ACM Gold Night T20 League)
A roller coaster match was played with great spirits and in the end The Team emerged Victorious just by 3 runs.
This was a match which had everything in it. The cricket was of high level and it had fearless, relentless, calculated hitting taken to the next level as The Team first amassed 199 only for A&I Properties to come within three runs of mounting the chase almost without breaking a sweat.
The Team batted first and did not get the best of starts as they lost their first wicket quite early in the game. But the wicket did not put them off the track as Daniyal came in and blasted every bowler. He started the assault and with that he put his side on top. He was in insane hitting form and smashed 10 sixes which is quite unreal. He got to a brilliant 100 with this effort, he was supported by other batsmen but he was the limelight of entire innings and A&I bowlers had no answers against him. With this power hitting The Team managed to score a big 199.
A special effort was required for A&I Properties to come back in the game. And with the start that they got it looked as though the game was done and dusted as The Team came strongly and picked early wickets to leave A&I Properties in tatters. A&I Properties were falling quickly until Idrees and Saqlain came in the middle. The two batsmen gave hope to A&I again with their splendid fifties. Their effort was quite spectacular as they took their team out of a deep hole and gave them another chance. Idrees smashed 4 sixes during his 65 before he was dismissed. Saqlain on the other hand kept going and blasted 8 big sixes on his way to a brilliant 88, though he remained unbeaten in the end but he kept losing his partners at the other end and in the end he and A&I Properties were left heartbroken as they fell short just by 3 runs.
