Sabih Merchant's insane hitting followed by an economical bowling performance from Idrees meant that TNT Titans thrashed The Team in a one sided fixture by 101 runs.

The bowlers look for answers and wait for luck to strike their way as there is no hiding place in T20 cricket. This is exactly what happened with The Team bowlers, they looked for oppurtunities and some luck as Sabih Merchant of TNT Titans demolished them with his fine hitting. The hard hitting opening batsman during his innings of 78 which came of just 33 balls smashed 5 sixes and 7 fours. He was supported by Shakir Serang and Owais Pasta as the bowlers looked clueless. After Sabih Merchant's stunning effort who dominated most part of the innings, Rabish Ahmed in the lower middle order put cherry on top of the cake as he smashed 3 humongous sixes during his cameo of 25 to take his side to a big 216.
The bowling was below par from The Team bowlers and they were hoping for a much better performance from their batsmen but that was not the case as the start was a shaky one and they never really recovered from it. Rabish Ahmed after his fine cameo with the bat was amongst the wicket takers as he picked up 2 wickets for just 20. The other main destroyer was Idrees who bowled exceptionally well to pick up 3 crucial wickets for just 23 and never allowed the batsmen to get on top. This effort meant that TNN Titans dominated the entire match and demolished the opposition with their fine all-round performance to win by a huge margin of 101.
