TN Suleman Strikers went against Suriya Fighters on 11 November at Rashid Latif Academy.
Bilal Aslam and Mudassir Suriya opened the innings for Fighters. While Bilal scored 1 runs only, Suriya got out on 11 runs. Sameer Javed, the one-down batter, smashed 44 off 41. Umar Suriya and Sadiq Suriya played cameos of 21 runs each. Haseeb Farid emerged, as he took 2 wickets while conceding 12 runs in 2 overs. Hence, Fighters posted a target of 147 runs at the loss of 7 wickets.
Haseeb Ur Rehman and Abdul Rehman Shakeel the openers of Strikers lost their wickets on a duck. Habib Shoaib, the one-down batter, smashed a half-centruy. His 56 off 44 contributed massively to the chase. In addition to this, M Ali Alam and Mubeen Ali contributed 30+ runs to the score each. Though Sadiq Suriya took 3 wickets, however, his efforts went in vain.
As a result, Strikers chased the score in 19.3 overs at the loss of 6 wickets.
