Khas batted first and were off to a poor start as they lost Imran for a golden duck and soon after him Haseeb was also dismissed just for 4. It was a real setback for Khas right at the start of the innings. Hassan Sohail and Yasir Tanvir tried to rescue the sinking ship and built a small little partnership. They together added over 40 runs out of which 19 came from Hassan’s bat whereas Yasir scored 25 off 19 with 4 fours. The bowlers kept damaging the scorecard for Khas and the chief destroyer was Naveed who picked up 3 wickets for just 21 runs and he was partnered by Adnan Akhtar who also picked up 3 wickets for just 11 runs. The batsmen found it difficult to score against quality bowling but there were some tiny little contributions from the lower middle order which helped Khas in setting up a modest target of 138.
In response, Perceptions got off to a poor start losing early wickets at the top. Then Foz e Azeem and Adnan Akhtar got together and scored some quick runs to bring Perception back on track. Azeem scored 35 off 26 balls whereas Adnan Akhtar scored 20 off 18 balls. Perceptions were looking good to chase the total down, but Touqeer Malik of Khas had other plans, he rattled the opposition single handedly with his great bowling. He made a match of what was looking like a tough task for Khas at one stage. Touqeer picked up 4 wickets for just 13 runs at an amazing economy of 3.25, he got support from the other end as well, Farhan and Ali picked up 2 wickets each and this helped them in folding the innings for Perceptions at just 115.
Khas won by 22 runs.
