United Energy Pakistan came in to bat first with both their openers in fine form. Their openers made full use of their form & out up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a strong start. Faizan Azam scored quick fire 34 runs off 22 deliveries where as Ulfat Rasool scored 35 off 29. Once the duo was dismissed the bowlers were able to pickup a couple of wickets in quick succession denting the momentum for the batting side. zeeshan hassan & Affan Qamar then put up a decent partnership. zeeshan hassan played the role of the aggressor while Affan Qamar rotated the strike. Affan Qamar looked solid before he was dismissed after scoring 17 runs off 11 deliveries. zeeshan hassan played a sublime knock of 68 runs off 47 deliveries boosting his team to a strong total. Basil Zaidi was ables to pickup a couple of wickets. United Energy Pakistan posted a total of 185 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
Institute Of Architect came in to chase this target & were off to a similar start. Their openers gave them a solid start as Ramiz Baig & Fawaz Ahmed scored with a healthy rate. Ramiz Baig was dismissed after scoring 19 runs off 20 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers made huge strides towards sealing the deal for their team as the top order & the middle order completely collapsed. The bowlers were able to pickup wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Fawaz Ahmed stood tall at the other end but was running out of partners. Muhammad Khuzaima came in & showed some sort of a fight back. Fawaz Ahmed was dismissed after playing a sublime knock of 59 runs off 40 deliveries. Muhammad Khuzaima tried to up the anti as he scored 22 runs off 19 deliveries but it was too big of a task for him. Faisal Mehmood & Umer Murtaza Ghazi lead the bowling lineup as they picked up a couple of wickets each.
