United CC Vs Warriors CC (15th Challengers Cup)
A match defining partnership by Wajahat and Arsal, leads their side to victory.
United CC were off to a flying start, when the opening pair carried a beautiful partnership of 35 runs, giving the United CC a boost start in the first innings. Irfan Nagri scored 23 runs and Zain Ahsan was able to score 27 runs. Then came the best partnership in the innings, when Wajahat and Arsal scored a total of 60 runs, giving their team the maximum advantage of putting up a defendable score against the Warriors. United CC scored a total of 149 runs in 20 overs.
The second innings was a challening one. Warriors CC played quite a nerve cracking game against the United and were back with a huge come back. The batting order seemed to be doing its job, but a few early dismissals turned the game around for the Warriors which seemed to be in their favor. Ahmed Moten was able to score 33 runs for his side, but that was just about it. Muhammad Mansoor picked up 3 wickets for the United CC. Warriors scored a total of 144 runs.
United CC won by 6 runs. What a close contest it was!
