Hush Puppies batted first and had a disastrous day out with the bat. The team struggled throughout the innings, the pressure of a final proving to be too much for their nerves. The team lost wickets in regular innings, unable to gain stability or keep the scoreboard ticking. Unity bowlers were in-form and on fire with Rehan Anwar and Ali Nasir leading the attack, picking up 3 and 2 wickets respectively to rattle the opposition. Opener Asif Hayat top scored for his side with a valuable knock of 30 runs to try and save his side. He was joined by Asad Arshad who was the only other notable contributor for his team with a score of 26 runs. Hush Puppies were eventually bowled out for 139 runs in 20 overs.
With a modest target to chase, Unity XI had the upper hand. Openers Fahad and Haroon got their team off to a solid start with an impressive partnership of 46 runs. Hush Puppies bowler Usman Tahir fought hard to pull his team back in the game, picking up 2 wickets but was unable to defend his team's total. Adeel Mansha was the top scorer for his side with a fiery cameo of 36 runs and along with Kamran Vohra (22) comfortably pulled their team over the line. Unity chased down the target in 19.2 overs.
Unity XI won by 7 wickets and were crowned champions
