Unity batted first and were off to a rocky start losing opener Haroon Mehmood for just 7 runs. The team stumbled throughout the innings, losing wickets in regular intervals. Bilal Iqbal was the hero of the day, saving his side with an impressive knock of 59 runs at a strike rate of 173. He was further supported by Hassan Ahmed who was the only other notable contributor for his side with a fiery 33 run cameo. Khas bowlers did well to contain the opposition, picking up key wickets and limiting the flow of runs. Hassan Sohail and Qamar Saleem lead the attack, picking up 3 and 2 wickets respectively. Unity posted a target of 155 in 18 overs.

Khas lost their opener early on in the chase for just 1 run. His partner Hassan Sohail then stepped in to stabilize the innings with a much-needed cameo of 29 runs. The team struggled to keep their wickets intact until Shiraz Mannah came out to bat. A fantastic display with the bat, the number 5 batsman scored an all-important 53 runs that consisted of 2 boundaries and 1 maximum. Rehan Tahir was also a key contributor for his side, scoring 41 runs in the chase. Unity bowled a tight line, taking wickets when needed and steering the momentum in their favor. Ali Amir was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3 wickets to decimate Khas's top order batsmen. Rehan Anwar also took 2 wickets to limit the opposition. Khas scored 145 runs in 19 overs.
