Unity Tex’s Centurion Stars in Victory

Unity Tex defeated Amadeus Super Cricketers in a match in the 31st Challengers Cup.

Unity Tex batted first and their openers managed 15 and 13 runs respectively. The middle order shined with the bat as Farhan Maxii scored 38 off 24 balls while Haider Ali Bangash hit 32 off 12 balls. Zubair Dilawar swiftly made 43 off 20 balls. Afnan Khan was the star batsman of the side, scoring 107 not out off only 39 balls, including 15 boundaries. His brilliant knock helped the team reach an extremely high total of 261 runs. The bowlers were unable to put pressure on the batsmen and could not stop runs from leaking.

Amadeus’ opener Faizan Azam made a meaningful 53 off 31 balls to offer support to his team. However, the batsmen who followed him struggled to perform and got out for single digit scores. Ibad Anis’ 21 off 11 balls along with Sheraz Chohan’s important knock of 54 not out off 22 balls helped the team post runs on the board. However, their efforts were not enough as the team only managed 201 runs. Mubashir Teli bagged 3 wickets while Afnan Khan and Khalid Khursheed took 2 wickets each.

Unity Tex won by 60 runs.
