Unity batted first and were off to a rocky start, losing opener Haroon Mehmood for just 5 runs. The team struggled throughout the innings, getting off to good starts but unable to capitalize and contribute further with the bat. Fahad Iqbal and Faisal Karim were the most notable batsmen for their side, scoring 36 and 32 runs respectively to propel their team's total. Bawa bowlers did well to limit the opposition, picking up wickets at key times to stop the flow of runs. Imran Qamar and Khurram Gulzar did maximum damage with the ball, taking 2 wickets each. The remaining batsmen's cameos helped keep the scoreboard ticking and boosted Unity's target to a respectable 158 in 20 overs.

Bawa Defence United had a disastrous day out with the bat. The lethal bowling by Unity's line up ripped through the opposition who were unable to keep their wickets intact. With the openers dismissed early on the innings for just 14 runs, Khurram Gulzar (25) and Ahmed Waqar (31) were the only two batsmen to show any resistance in the middle. Bilal Amin, Ali Amin, Ali Nasir and Atif took 2 wickets each to rattle the opposition and bowl them out for 123 in 19 overs.
