Allied Friends batted first and were off to a solid start as their openers, Nabeel and Nadeem looked in scintillating touch. Both took advantage of the power play and tried to score as maximum as possible. Nadeem Saleem was more aggressive of the two and hw smashed 1 six and 3 fours during his 26 of 14 balls whereas Nabeel Younus scored 41 of 35 balls with 2 maximums and 1 four. Once the openers were dismissed the middle order crumbled and could not took advantage of the start provided by the openers. Ali Amin was the main destroyer with the ball as he picked up 4 wickets for just 15 runs, his spell put the brakes on the scoring rate. Sharjeel Maqbool played a much-needed innings down the order as he scored 33 of 30 with 2 fours. In the end, Allied Friends managed to score 149 of their 20 overs.

In response, Unity XI were unbelievable. Their openers, Fahad and Haroon set the tone with their magnificent opening partnership. The duo was in best of their form and they crushed the bowlers with their mighty blows. There was no stopping them, Fahad Iqbal who remained not out till the end was also the highest scorer as he managed to score 68 of just 40 balls with 3 maximums and 5 fours, his partner scored 44 of 27 balls with 2 sixes and 3 fours, they added more than 100 runs together at the top. The openers were enough to put Unity XI on top and rest was done by Kamran who played a little cameo of 24 of 18 balls with 2 sixes to give Unity XI a big win by 8 wickets only in 15.1 overs.
