Usman Usmani shines against a star studded Big Bang Productions

Imperial Rhinos came in to bat first with the opposition having the very own superstar of Pakistan Cricket Shoaib Malik in their team. They were off to a flying start despite loosing a wicket early. Their openers smashed the ball towards all parts of the ground as Arshad Ali scored 68 runs off 53 balls. Umer Riaz played an absolute blinder even hitting Shoaib Malik out of the attack. He scored 77 runs off just 45 deliveries an innings which included 6 sixes. The rest of the batsmen couldn’t do much as the bowlers then started picking up wickets at regular intervals. Shoaib Malik had a decent outing with the ball, he was able to pickup a wicket as well. Imperial Rhinos posted a total of 194 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.

Big Bang Productions came in to chase this target & were off to a decent start with Obaid Khan scoring a quick 23 off 16 balls giving them the start that was required. Once he was dismissed Shoaib Malik walked onto the pitch & we witnessed a dream duo on the crease as Shoaib Malik & another superstar Fahad Mustafa were on the crease together. The duo then had a partnership of 50+ runs with Shoaib Malik attacking & Fahad Mustafa playing second fiddle to him. Shoaib Malik played a fiery innings of 47 runs off just 29 deliveries before he got caught by the fielder. Fahad Mustafa followed him sooner in a pretty unconventional fashion as he got hit wicket after scoring 25 runs off 26 deliveries. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Faheem Mirza came in towards the back end of the innings & tried to up the anti as he scored 33 runs off 15 deliveries but it was too little too late as wickets kept on tumbling from the other end. Usman Usmani was absolutely unplayable as he ripped through the batting lineup picking up 5 wickets. He found good support from Minhaj Abid who picked up a couple of wickets himself. Big Bang Productions were bowled out on the last delivery of the innings for 164 runs.
