RAJPUT EAGLES vs SHAHBAZ NAGAR (RAMZAN LEAGUE)
A one sided fixture of the Ramzan League was played between Rajput Eagles and Shahbaz Nagar. Batting first Rajput Eagles had a dismal start. The first wicket fell on the very first ball of the innings, and this was a prelude for a flop show of batting. None of the batsmen managed to reach the double figures and looked helpless against a strong bowling attack. Shahbaz Nagar bowled brilliantly and did not allow the batsmen to score freely. Faizan claimed 3 wickets while Ali and Arsalan managed to get 2 wickets apiece. The number of extras was greater than the individual score of any batsman. With 12 extra runs, Rajput Eagles managed to score 42 runs for the loss of 9 wickets after 8 overs.
It was a recap of the first innings as Shahbaz Nagar also lost their first batsman on a golden duck. But before Rajput Eagles could capitalize the situation, Haroon played a gem of an innings. Haroon scored 38 runs of 10 balls and single handedly took the game away from Rajput Eagles. Bari and Zaheer managed to get a wicket each, but it was Haroon’s knock which superseded their efforts and Shahbaz Nagar won this match by 8 wickets.
