The Viper XI defeated the Karachi Warriors by 4 wickets in the 3rd MTAX CPL CUP match held on 18-9-2015.
The Karachi Warriors posted 158 on the board at the loss of 7 wickets batting first. The top order managed to get off to good starts with Jawwad Anwer scoring 37 and Usama getting 35 of just 23 balls. However, the Viper XI bowlers managed to pull the match back with Faraz picking up 2 wickets at the expense of 16 runs in his 3 overs.
The Vipers XI managed to chase this total down with an over to spare and 4 wickets in hand. Saqib Inam top scored getting 46 of 39 balls while Sumair played a cameo of 21 of 10 balls to bring the Vipers home.
