Vital Groups batted first and were off to a worst possible start losing their opener of the first ball of the match. It was a poor start but they never got effected by it as after the first wicket the innings was dominated by Vital Groups. It all started with Inam Ullah first who scored a brilliant 71 of just 46 with a strike rate of over 154. He smashed the bowlers all over the park and even the early loss of his partner did not affect him as he played aggressively. He was supported by many other batsmen but another special performance came from Obaid who also scored in the 70s, he scored 76 and was a much quicker one as it came of just 31 balls at a strike rate of 245. The two hard hitting batsmen demolished the bowling line up and helped their side reach a mammoth total of 220.
After a boisterous performance with the bat, the bowlers did their part. They never allowed the batsmen to get under their skin and they dictated terms. Obaid after his magnificent effort with the bat, bowled brilliantly as well as he picked up a wicket for just 12 runs in his 3 overs. He was supported by other bowlers as well as everyone played their part and bowled with great control. The only real effort with the bat came from Wajahat Ahmed who scored 48 of 22 balls otherwise it was a dull and gloomy effort from rest of the batters and in the end they were comprehensively beaten by 79 runs.
