ZamZam Sports v ZMCC
ZamZam Sports batted first losing opener Fida Khan for duck. The team stumbled, losing their top order in single digits before Faizan Khalid stepped in to lead the recovery. His impressive knock of 78 runs at a strike rate of 200 included 8 boundaries and 4 maximums. He received little support on the other end however as the remaining batsmen threw away their wickets unable to contribute with the bat. Ammar Ahmed was the key bowler for his side taking 3 wickets to stump the opposition. Aamir Bangesh was the only other notable contributor for his side with a cameo of 29 runs. Zam Zam Sports posted a target of 181 in 20 overs.
ZMCC lost their opener Shahid Ghayas early on in the chase for just 1 run. The team lost wickets regularly, unable to gain stability at any stage. The top order was dismissed cheaply before Asad fought back with an impressive 53 run knock that gave his team some chance of winning the game. Zam Zam bowlers Akram and Bakth however took 2 wickets each to rattle the batting line up who were never able to recover. ZMCC were eventually limited to 145 in 20 overs.
ZamZam Sports won by 36 runs.
